Partido State University's (ParSU) Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program at the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (San Jose Campus) received a favorable evaluation from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) after a two-day assessment for its Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) application.

During the exit conference, Dr. Florivel Villacorta, a member of the RQAT, and Dr. Karen Iniego, CHED Education Supervisor, highlighted the program's strengths and commendable standing, with a few recommendations for improvement. Further, it was noted that the majority of the programs of the College are exemplary in terms of implementation, reflecting the College's hard work, dedication, and passion for excellence. "After a thorough assessment, the odds favored the ParSU BSHM program." she ended.ย 
With this, SUC President III Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the entire College for working tirelessly to ensure that this endeavor will be successful, stating that this is one of the greatest accomplishments of the latter. He then reiterated that despite some detours, he remains positive that upon approval of all the applications for COPCs, the University will realize its vision of bringing the brand globally through internationalization.ย 

This was supported by the message of commitment of Dr. Jossie B. Romero, Dean of the College, who shared how resiliency and collective efforts made their vision come to a realization. She then fully committed to ensuring 100% compliance with CHED's standards.ย 

Further, BSHM Department Chair Dong Rian C. Valencia views the recommendations of the CHED RQAT as an opportunity to improve the systems and processes of the College, emphasizing that working in unison will ensure success.ย 

The result implies that the ParSU BSHM program is closer to securing its COPC, not just because of the need for compliance but also to uphold the delivery of quality education to the community.ย 

The success of this evaluation reflects ParSU's unwavering commitment to excellence in education with unity as its backbone, with the support and guidance of the University officials under the leadership of President Zarcedo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Concurrent Dean of ParSU Caramoan Dr. Michael A. Partido State University (ParSU) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) Automated Teller Machine (ATM) booth at the ParSU Goa campus, marking a significant milestone as the first to be installed across all ParSU campuses which symbolizes progress and innovation within the University.ย 

This partnership aims to provide the students, faculty, personnel, and other stakeholders an easier and more convenient access to banking services.ย 

ParSU President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, emphasizes that this collaboration is a significant step forward as the University continues enhancing its campus services, stating, "ParSU is not only a place of learning but also a place that provides essential services to support our daily life." he ended.ย 

In her remarks, Almira M. Repecilo, the branch manager of LBP Goa, congratulated ParSU on this momentous occasion and expressed her enthusiasm for this partnership. She also encouraged the community to use the ATM responsibly and take advantage of its convenience.ย 

The LBP ATM booth is seen to be a valuable addition that will provide long-term benefits to the entire university community. Assuming no delays in the process, the ATM will be ready for use within 45 days.ย

In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994 ย and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Memo 19 series of 2025, ย Partido State University (ParSU) key officials discussed Internationalization initiatives with CHED Education Supervisor Dr. Karen Iรฑiego yesterday, February 26, 2025. ย 

Key aspects of internationalization were laid out and tackled, including the installation of an International Relations Office, strategic internationalization plan, readiness to apply in the international ranking bodies like Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ย World, QS Asia, Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, THE Impact Rankings and World University Rankings for Innovations, and the submission of semestral report on the data of local students doing outbound and inbound mobility.

This engagement resonates with ParSU's steadfast commitment to attaining its target of expanding and enhancing global competitiveness for its students, faculty, and academic community.

Through CHED's guidance and the ParSU community's collective efforts, ParSU stands positive that the University will reach greater heights, bring its brand to the international arena, and foster global partnerships that will benefit its stakeholders.

The two-day Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) evaluation for the application of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management major in Ecotourism (BSTME) at Partido State University (ParSU)- College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems (Caramoan Campus) successfully concluded yesterday, February 25, 2025.ย 

During the exit conference, RQAT Member Dr. Florivel Villacorta and CHED Education Supervisor Dr. Karen Iรฑiego highlighted the positive results and discussed a few recommendations to be addressed by the University within a month, marking a pivotal moment for ParSU as the grant of a COPC affirms that the ParSU BSTME program fully complies with all the CHED standards and guidelines. With this target in mind, ParSU remains determined to continue persevering in its ongoing pursuit of providing quality education to its community.ย

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) grants the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to Partido State University (ParSU) - College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems (Caramoan Campus)' Bachelor of Science in Biology โ€“ Major in Conservation and Restoration Ecology (BSBio-CRE).

This follows the CHED Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) visit last January 30-31, 2025, wherein the application for the issuance of the COPC for the said program was evaluated.ย 

The COPC is a crucial recognition for higher education institutions, confirming that the academic program meets CHED standards. It ensures that the curriculum, teaching methods, and facilities align with national expectations for quality education, making it part of a historic milestone for BSBio-CRE.ย 

This achievement was made possible through the collaborative effort of the faculty and personnel of BSBio-CRE, all key University officials, under the leadership of ParSU President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Concurrent Dean of ParSU Caramoan Dr. Michael A. Clores, and the assistance of the Conservation Biology Department Chair Mr. Cyrus Job P. Dela Cruz, highlighting ParSU's commitment and dedication to academic excellence, innovation, and sustainability.ย
