Partido State University (ParSU) honored a total of 708 students during the 12th Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and 3rd Literacy Training Service (LTS) Graduation Ceremony, with the theme "Building Unity, Embracing Inclusiveness: A Tribute to NSTP Achievers." yesterday, June 10, 2025, at the ParSU Gymnasium.ย 

The event showcased the efforts and achievements of students across various colleges who received their certificates of completion. Further, special recognition was given to those who exemplified outstanding commitment through the Leadership Award, Service Award, and Best Immersion Award.

Gracing the occasion as Commencement Speaker was Dr. Michael A. Clores, Vice President for Academic Affairs. In his address, Dr. Clores commended the graduates for their dedication and sense of civic duty, urging them to continue embodying the values of patriotism, nationalism, and social responsibility.

Notably, behind the success of the graduates' NSTP journey were the efforts of NSTP Director Dr. Maria Aurora G. Caballero, the NSTP coordinators across campuses, CWTS Coordinator Rempson D. Base and LTS Coordinator Mr. Domingo D. Palero, whose guidance shaped the students' values and leadership skills throughout the program.ย 

As ParSU honors this new generation of NSTP graduates, it reaffirms its mission to advance inclusive education, community engagement, and nation-building through service-oriented leadership.ย

The Partido State University (ParSU) ย College of Public Safety and Community Health (Lagonoy Campus) conducted a benchmarking visit to the College of Health Sciences of Naga College Foundation.

This initiative is in preparation for the college's proposed BS Nursing program, reflecting the university's continuous pursuit of academic excellence and institutional development. The visit aimed to strengthen inter-institutional collaboration, adopt innovative practices, and further enhance the quality of services and academic offerings at ParSU.

The university, represented by President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, Dean of the college Dr. Shirlene S. Esplana, ย Faculty and Campus Nurse-designate Patrick Edward C. Partido State University (ParSU) College of Education (CED), in collaboration with Saysay Bikol and the Department of Education, Division of Camarines Sur (DepED CS), conducted an extension activity entitled โ€œ๐’๐œ๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐š๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐“๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐จ ๐€๐ซ๐ž๐š.โ€ The event took place at the CED Review Training Center and marks a significant step in strengthening educational support systems in the region.

This initiative assesses the current needs, challenges, and opportunities Social Studies educators face across Partido. Through active engagement, the activity serves as a foundational step toward designing relevant and responsive professional development programs.ย 

Serving as the keynote speaker of the activity, Atty. Salvador T. Pelingon, Education Program Supervisor of the Department of Education Division of Camarines Sur, provided key insights into current educational frameworks and professional development strategies for educators.ย 

The scoping activity brought educational leaders and partners, including Social Studies teachers from both secondary and tertiary levels from different schools across Sagรฑay, Tigaon, Goa, San Jose, Minalabac, Lagonoy, Tinambac, Presentacion, and Caramoan, School Principals Mr. Crespin Adayo, Mr. Armi C. Rivero, and Mr. Don Baรฑaga, and officials from Saysay Bikol Rev. Fr. Francis Tordilla, President and Mr. John dela Paz, Director of Education.ย

In a bid to strengthen intellectual property (IP) awareness and promote technology commercialization among faculty researchers, Partido State University (ParSU), through its IP Unit under the Research and Development Division, partnered with the Department of Science and Technology Region V (DOST V) for a two-day seminar-workshop held on June 4โ€“5, 2025, at the RDE Training Hall, ParSU Goa Campus.

This initiative was conducted under the Technology Transfer Entrepreneurship Collaboration and Harmonization of Growing Regional Opportunities on Wealth Creation (TECHGROW) Project to empower higher education institutions in the Bicol region to harness their research potential for industry impact.

Leading the discussions were esteemed resource persons Engr. Leo Agustin P. Vela, Supervising Science Research Specialist of PSTO Camarines Norte and TECHGROW Project Coordinator, and Ms. Josie D. Albao, Provincial Science and Technology Director of PSTO Masbate and TECHGROW Project Leader.

Participants from various ParSU colleges, university offices, and university officials delved into various topics, including an Overview of IP Relevant to Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research, IPOPHL Programs and Services, Best Practices for ย Protecting Industry, ย Energy and Emerging Technology Related Innovations, Technology Transfer Fundamentals, Strategies for Effective Technology Transfer and Commercialization, and the TECHGROW Project.ย 

The seminar cultivated ParSU's commitment to enriching faculty researchers' awareness of intellectual property management and technology transfer fundamentals and its crucial role in research utilization and innovation, reaffirming the university's commitment to advancing research culture, supporting economic and societal development, and promoting resilient communities.ย

Partido State University (ParSU) successfully held its 24th Commencement Exercises from May 29 to June 2, 2025, celebrating the achievements of 1,590 graduates across its campuses and academic units.

Day 1, held at the ParSU Gymnasium, recognized 705 graduates from the College of Business and Management, College of Arts and Humanities, College of Education, and College of Science. The ceremony was graced by Hon. Ethel Agnes Pascua-Valenzuela, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education and Chairperson of the ParSU Board of Regents, who emphasized lifelong learning and resilience in an evolving world. Representing the graduates, Leomark Kevin De La Cruz Baldoza, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies and Cum Laude, delivered an inspiring message on collective strength and purpose.

On Day 2, 798 graduates from the College of Engineering and Computational Sciences, College of Public Safety and Community Health, College of Fisheries and Marine Science, College of Agribusiness and Community Development, College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and College of Environmental Science and Design were honored. The commencement speaker, Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, President of Batangas State University and President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges, called on the graduates to embrace continuous learning and accountability. Brian C. Cledera, Cum Laude and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology graduate represented the class with a heartfelt speech urging graduates to be brave, kind, and relentless in pursuing their purpose.

Day 3 was held at the Caramoan Campus for the 87 graduates of the College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems. The celebration began with a Baccalaureate Mass at the Parish of St. Michael the Archangel, presided over by Most Rev. Rex Andrew C. Alarcon, D.D., Archbishop of Caceres. Following this was the commencement exercises at the campus-covered court, with Hon. Rommel R. Serrano, Regional Director of the Department of Science and Technology Region V and ParSU Board of Regents member, as guest speaker. In his empowering message, RD Serrano praised the graduates' perseverance and urged them to elevate Caramoan's imageโ€”not only as a natural paradise but as home to future-ready professionals shaped by ParSU.ย 

Across all three days, the university echoed a unified message: resilience, excellence, and service define the Class of 2025. Each graduate now carries the hallmark of being a true ParSUanโ€”future-ready, socially responsible, and deeply rooted in community transformation.
