To further capacitate its faculty and personnel with the skills and knowledge needed for conducting internal quality audits (IQA), the Partido State University (ParSU) Quality Assurance Center conducts a two-day IQA Training for its internal quality auditors. 

The training will cover key audit principles, processes, and best practices aligned with the University's quality management system with guest speaker Engr. Helen Alian-Evalle, ISO Consultant and HAE Consultancy and Training Services General Manager. Additionally, it will cover techniques to foster collaboration among departments to ensure that it is in synergy in strengthening its processes, ensuring that ParSU complies with ISO 9001 standards.

With this, ParSU President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, emphasized that as a University, part of ParSU's responsibility is to provide the highest level of education and service, which will require a strong, reliable, and continually improving system. He then reminded everyone that internal audits are more than just compliance but more of upholding the values of integrity, transparency, and efficiency, highlighting the crucial role of the participants in this endeavor. "Your role as internal auditors will be crucial in ensuring that ParSU continues to grow as a model in education governance and service," he concluded.

This initiative reflects ParSU's passion for excellence and ongoing efforts toward internationalization, ultimately fostering credibility that benefits faculty, students, and the community.

To ensure the provision of high-quality educational experience to its students and commit to continuous improvements, Partido State University (ParSU) welcomed the esteemed Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) for the Evaluation of the Application for Issuance of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to BS Geology I-IV (BSGeo) and Program Monitoring of BS Civil Engineering, BS Sanitary Engineering, AB Communication, BS Mathematics, and BS Biology. 

The CHED RQAT conducted an onsite evaluation and ocular inspection of facilities to ensure that BSGeo complies with CHED's standards for COPC issuance and will monitor and identify areas for improvement across colleges, particularly in the College of Sciences, Humanities, and Engineering and Computational Sciences. 

In his welcome remarks, ParSU President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, emphasized the significance of the evaluation, stating, "The RQAT Evaluation and Monitoring underscores our commitment to academic excellence, institutional integrity, and the continuous improvement of our programs and services." President Zarcedo furthered that this visit is more than a procedural requirement—it is a vital opportunity to reflect on and enhance ParSU's academic and student programs.

In addition, CHED RQAT will evaluate Student Affairs Services and monitor the National Service Training Program in the Goa campus, including the different colleges, namely the College of Public Safety and Community Health (Lagonoy campus), Fisheries and Marine Sciences (Sagñay Campus), Agribusiness and Community Development (Salogon Campus), and Environmental Science and Design (Tinambac Campus).

Gracing this significant activity were CHED evaluators Prof. Mary Rose P. Gabuyo, Dr. Geronimo A. Buenavente, CE, ES II, and Dr. Jean Salalima-Go, ES II/OIC-Supervising EPS along with ParSU's key officials and personnel. The three-day visit will conclude on February 13, 2025, with an exit conference where the evaluation results will be presented. 

ParSU remains steadfast in upholding quality education, ensuring its academic programs seek continuous improvement to promote and sustain excellence within the community.
