Partido State University – San Jose Campus, formerly the San Jose Polytechnic Institute, is one of the integrated institutions under Republic Act 9029 establishing Partido State University. With the institutionalization of University’s strategic plan, it now stands as the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, envisioned to be a leading center for tourism and hospitality professionals through community-based tourism, leadership, innovation, and sustainable collaboration for local and global development. The College offers two niche programs – the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) and the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) – established in line with Republic Act Nos. 7722 and 7820 to advance the Partido district’s tourism industry and socio-economic growth. Since their inception in 2003 and 2006, the programs have evolved through ladderized curricula, TESDA competencies, and several curriculum enhancements aligned with industry standards, CHED directives, and national and international education reforms. Today, both programs fully comply with CMO No. 62, s. 2017, and are recognized with CHED’s Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) and AACCUP Level III accreditation, ensuring quality, relevance, and global competitiveness in tourism and hospitality education.

Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM)

The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) program at Partido State University – San Jose Campus is a premier academic offering designed to cultivate globally competitive tourism professionals. Anchored on CHED Standards and Guidelines under Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) No. 32, s. 2022 and distinguished with AACCUP Level III Re-Accreditation, the program ensures academic excellence, industry relevance, and international alignment.

Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM)

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program at Partido State University – San Jose Campus is designed to develop competent and service-oriented professionals for the global hospitality industry. Fully compliant with CHED Standards and Guidelines under Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) No. 51, s. 2025 and distinguished with AACCUP Level III Re-Accreditation, the program guarantees quality instruction and continuous alignment with industry benchmarks and international standards.

The BSHM curriculum provides comprehensive training in hospitality operations, food and beverage management, lodging and resort management, and customer service excellence. By integrating practical experiences with theoretical foundations, the program equips students with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to excel in diverse hospitality settings, including hotels, restaurants, resorts, cruise lines, and other related establishments.
