College of Agribusiness and Community Health
The College of Agribusiness and Community Development (Salogon Campus) of Partido State University started as Salogon Barangay High School which was converted into San Jose Fisheries School in 1983 through a Batas Pambansa that offers secondary education with technical-vocational courses in fisheries. In 2001 through Republic Act 9029, it became the Salogon Campus of Partido State University with the flagship in agricultural entrepreneurship. Recognizing the global development priorities, demands, and trends, the University pushes its Strategic Plan 2023-2027 on October 26, 2023 through BOR Resolution No. 72, s. 2023 wherein PSU-Salogon Campus is now the College of Agribusiness and Community Development. It has two departments โ the Agribusiness and Technopreneurship Department and the Community Development Department-, currently offering two baccalaureate degree programs.
College Goal
The goal of the College is to: Produce cutting-edge, globally competitive, value-laden agri-technopreneurs and community development professionals for fast innovation in agriculture and achieving sustainable development focusing on food security, climate change mitigation, poverty reduction, and sustainable communities, particularly marginalized sectors through instruction, research, extension, and production services.

Program Offerings
Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB)
The Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness has been offered in the College of Agribusiness and Community Development since Academic Year 2014-2015, as a result of the CHEDโs evaluation of the former program in Bachelor of Agricultural Entrepreneurship, through adoption of CMO No. 24, s. 2007 and BOR Resolution No. 54 s. 2013. To keep the curriculum aligned with the recent developments, it incorporated relevant memoranda from the Commission on Higher Education including CMO No. 20, s. 2013, CMO No. 39, s. 2021 and approved by the Board as per BOR Res. No. 41, s. 2018 and BOR Res. No. 32, s. 2023. The program is compliant with CHED Standards and Guidelines as per Certificate of Program Compliance No. 75 series of 2021.
The BS in Agribusiness program aims to: 1) Equip students with management, and entrepreneurial skills relevant to agribusiness and other allied courses; 2) Generate quality researches in line with agriculture technology and enterprise development for utilization and commercialization; 3) Demonstrate commitment for sustainable services through agriculture and community-based enterprise., and; 4) Instill the values of production efficiency, economic sufficiency, social responsibility, and environmental concern.
Bachelor of Science in Community Development (BSCD)
The Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness is being offered in the College of Agribusiness and Community Development starting Academic Year 2023-2024, through BOR Resolution No. No. 68, s. 2022 and BOR Res. No. 32, s. 2023. The program is in its third year of implementation in the College. It is compliant with CHED Standards and Guidelines as per COPC No. 061 series of 2020.
The BS in Community Development program aims to: 1) Prepare the students with substantial knowledge and skills in community development and other allied courses for their future social works and professional careers; 2) Develop the studentsโ research skills that will generate opportunities to establish empirical evidence and theoretical corroboration for community development; 3) Facilitate trainings, seminars, workshops, and other extension activities to address the socio-economic and ecological needs of the community, and; 4) Exemplify high moral values, social responsibilities, and ethical standards as community development professionals.
