Partido State University – Sagñay Campus is one of the seven campuses of Partido State University, located in the coastal municipality of Sagñay, Camarines Sur. The majority of the population in the area consider themselves economically challenged, which makes the campus’ mission highly relevant. PSU-Sagñay is committed to providing quality instruction, responsive research, and needs-based extension services in fisheries and aquatic resources. With 33 teaching and non-teaching staff, the campus strives to cultivate a culture of excellence in higher education. It envisions producing fishery scientists, technologists, technicians, and entrepreneurs who can contribute to sustainable development, while continuously upgrading human resources, facilities, and technologies for aquamarine progress.

Bachelor of Science in Fisheries (BSF)

Bachelor of Science in Fisheries (BS Fisheries) The flagship program of PSU-Sagñay focuses on instruction, research, extension, and linkages in the field of aquatic resources. It prepares students for professional careers in aquaculture, capture fisheries, fish processing, fisheries ecology, and entrepreneurship. The program emphasizes strong academic foundations, research engagement, practical fieldwork, and training in reputable institutions. It also incorporates enhancement classes to improve reading comprehension and licensure exam performance, career development activities, and sports for holistic student growth.

Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology (BSMB)

The Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology (BS Marine Biology) program is designed to develop graduates with a comprehensive understanding of marine life and its ecosystems. It is a discipline within higher education focused on Marine Science, which encompasses the study of the sea, its life, processes, and interactions. Its primary goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the dynamic nature of marine life and its ecosystem. Graduates are expected to be able to apply scientific processes to problem-solving, contribute to the management of tropical marine resources, pursue careers in related fields (such as marine biology, conservation, oceanography, fisheries), and promote the sustainable utilization of marine resources. The curriculum is structured to support the Philippines' role as a global center for marine shore fish biodiversity and to develop manpower for managing and enhancing these vital resources.
