College of Public Safety and Community Health
The College of Public Safety and Community Health (Lagonoy Campus), formerly known as Lagonoy School of Fisheries, was established on November 27, 1997 through RA 8417 in Brgy. Cabotonan, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur. Its integration as a part of Partido State University via RA 9029 on March 5, 2001 marked its commitment to expanding educational opportunities. The college was later relocated to Brgy. San Vicente, Lagonoy, with its original site functioning as an Extension Campus to serve the campuses of Lagonoy and Sagรฑay.
Currently, the college offers degree programs in Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor of Science in Criminology, and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Security Management. These courses are designed to address critical needs in community health, safety, and securityโareas vital for sustainable local development. For instance, graduates in Nutrition and Dietetics can promote healthy lifestyles, address malnutrition, and improve public health standards. Criminology and Industrial Security Management create avenues for enhancing community safety and law enforcement, helping to reduce crime and promote security in local areas.
College Goal
The collegeโs primary goal is to equip students with specialized knowledge and practical skills that directly benefit the community. Its programs focus on fields that foster community safety, health, and well-being, ensuring graduates are prepared to contribute meaningfully to local development.

Program Offerings
Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND)
The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND) is a four-year program that prepares students to enter the workforce as globally competitive professional with relevant competencies in three areas of nutrition: Hospital, Public Health and Food service. This is accomplished by integrating academic and clinical knowlegde and skills through excellent teachinf and development of appropriate values and attitudes, in the excercise of the profession to address the shifting needs of society.
Due to the inclusion of the clinical nutrition and hospital practicum, the BSND program is also a solid preparation for career in medicine.
Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim)
The Bachelor of Science in Criminology program aims to encourage a thorough understanding on research and injury on the nature, course treatment or punishment of criminal behavior and how criminal justice agencies respond to crime, criminals and victims; prepare students in their career in crime prevention, law enforcement, scientific crime detection, and correctional administration and foster the value of leadership, integrity, accounatbility and responsibility in serving their fellowmen, community, and country.
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Security Management (BSISM)
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Security Management involves the study and application of the principles of security. It prepares its graduates ti assume SUPERVISORY ROLES, and involves the study of the principles and method of Risk management and the applicable intervensions that confronts all types of human conditions and endeavors. It also includes the study and practice of the means of protecting resources from loss and damage.
