With the goal of enhancing sustainable practices that will create lasting benefits for the community, Partido State University (ParSU) Research and Development Division, in partnership with the College of Fisheries and Marine Sciences - Sagรฑay Campus, initializes the implementation of research and extension for improved and innovative processing of Abo (๐๐ต๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ, ๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐ค๐ฉ & ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ, 1801) products in the surrounding Municipalities of San Miguel Bay.
With the expertise of Dr. Jose P. Peralta, a retired professor from the University of the Philippines Visayas, the project is set to redefine fisheries research and Abo processing methods. Dr. Peralta will guide discussions on key topics such as commercialization, packaging, product innovation, and USAID CHED UPScale Program, offering invaluable insights crucial to the project's successful execution.ย
