April 6, 10-11, 2025

Partido State University (ParSU) successfully underwent its ISO 9001:2015 First Surveillance Audit on April 6, 10, and 11, 2025, reaffirming its commitment to delivering quality education and services through a continually improving Quality Management System (QMS).ย

The audit, led by Ms. Madilyn Plaza, audit members Ms. Mary Grace Balobalo and Mr. Hilario Capili, and ParSU ISO Consultant Engr. Helen Alian-Evalle aimed to verify the university's compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, assess conformity with regulatory and contractual requirements, and determine the management system's effectiveness in achieving institutional objectives.ย

In his message, ParSU President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, emphasized that the university is determined to remain responsive to the evolving needs of the students, faculty, stakeholders, and the community. Thus, ParSU is setting its sights on transforming all its processes, beginning with the Graduate Programs of the College of Education, College of Business and Management, and College of Arts and Humanities, which were evaluated for their curriculum-instruction design and resource development, followed by a class observation on April 6, 2025. ย

Following this, on April 10, 2025, the audit shifted focus to the College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems (Caramoan campus), where key areas such as campus site management, curriculum design, development review, classroom instruction including laboratory observations, student affairs focusing on student activities and discipline, facilities management, library services, registrar services, and research and extension were audited. In the afternoon, the audit team proceeded to the Goa Campus to evaluate the Top Management, specifically focusing on updates and changes to the QMS, quality policy and objectives, among others. Further, the university's feedback mechanisms, complaint-handling procedures, and guidance and counseling procedures were evaluated alongside the Planning and Development Office.ย

To conclude, on April 11, 2025, the final day of the audit covered similar activities at the College of Agribusiness and Community Development (Salogon campus) and Goa campus, focusing again on academic and support services.ย

After thorough consolidation, ๐๐š๐ซ๐’๐” ๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ˆ๐’๐Ž ๐Ÿ—๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐’๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฏ๐ž๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐€๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ณ๐ž๐ซ๐จ ๐ง๐จ๐ง-๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, reflecting the university's collaborative spirit, hard work, and resilience.ย

According to President Zarcedo, this significant activity is more than just an assessment but a celebration of the university's accomplishments. He then reminded everyone that true excellence is not a destination but a discipline and that the university's goal is not perfection but progress. "Here at ParSU, ISO and QA, in general, is our way of life." he ended.ย

This milestone reaffirms ParSU's commitment to a culture where quality and continuous improvement are prioritized to provide excellent service to its stakeholders.ย

Congratulations, ParSU!
