𝐏𝐒𝐌, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐔, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐀𝐂 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩: 𝐃𝐍𝐀 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. – Bicol Chapter, in collaboration with Partido State University (ParSU) and Noveaulab Asia Corporation, held the Molecular Biology Workshop: DNA Barcoding at ParSU on February 20-21, 2025. 

The workshop featured expert-led lectures and hands-on laboratory activities, covering key topics such as Biosafety, Pipetting Techniques, Basic Molecular Biology Concepts, Nucleic Acid Extraction, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis and Documentation, and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). 

Participants also underwent hands-on activities to sharpen their skills, including pipetting, DNA purification, PCR, and the preparation and loading of Agarose Gel Electrophoresis.

This collaboration deepened the participants' knowledge and served as their avenue to connect with professionals in the field.
