Partido State University (ParSU) received its Plaque of Recognition for achieving Level III Institutional Accreditation (IA) from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) during its 39th Annual National Conference and General Assembly with the theme “Advancing QA: Research, Science, and Technology for Transformative Education and Sustainable Development,” held at Century Park Hotel, Manila, earlier today, March 24, 2026, with more than a hundred participating State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) from across the Philippines.
The recognition highlighted ParSU’s sustained commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in Philippine Higher Education. This recognition followed the university’s successful IA Evaluation conducted on September 22–24, 2025, with Level III Accredited status reflecting strong performance in key areas specifically, Governance and Management; Teaching, Learning, and Evaluation; Faculty and Staff; Research and Innovation; Extension, Consultancy, and Linkages; Student Support Services; Library and Knowledge Resources; Infrastructure and Learning Facilities; and Quality Assurance Culture. It positioned ParSU among the country’s leading high-performing state universities and colleges.
ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo together with university officials including Dr. Michael A. Clores, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Janeth A. Cledera, Director of the Quality Assurance Office, College Deans, and other representatives joined the awarding ceremony, reflecting the collective dedication of the ParSU community to quality assurance and excellence, and the university’s unwavering pursuit of continual improvement.
This notable achievement was also recently celebrated during the 2nd National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies Inc. Summit and Conferment Ceremony, held at The Heritage Hotel Manila last March 5–7, 2026, where ParSU received its IA certificate.
