𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐔, 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐉𝐀𝐏𝐊𝐔𝐒 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐞𝐬

𝘛𝘖𝘋𝘈𝘠- To formalize academic and research collaborations, Partido State University (ParSU) signs the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine-Japan Association for Kuroshio Science Promotion, Inc. (PHILJAPKUS) at ParSU, Goa, Camarines Sur. 

This partnership will serve as an avenue for joint research projects, benefiting the faculty and students of ParSU through capacity-building initiatives. The collaboration also opens doors to research funding and grants, helping elevate the university's global standing. The MOA promotes a more sustainable practice in resource management that will positively impact the local community. In his welcome remarks, Dr. Raul G. Bradecina, ParSU Vice President for Research, Extension, and Knowledge Management, emphasized the importance of science-driven protection and the rational use of resources to support resource-dependent communities. "I believe in sustained accumulation of knowledge to enhance our instruction and drive innovation," he said, underscoring the value of continuous learning in the academic field.

Supporting this, Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo, ParSU President, reflected on the long-standing collaboration with Kochi University, enriching ParSU's understanding of science and the transformative power of global academic connections. "Today, we strengthen the bond by taking it a step further with PHILJAPKUS opening new doors for our faculty and researchers to grow, innovate, and create lasting impacts." he ended. Dr. Alex Camaya, PHILJAPKUS President, said that the initiative is not just about showcasing the studies to the ParSU faculty; it is also a way of friendship and reunion, especially for the mentors who guided them through the challenges at Kochi University. "At the end of this event, we aim for fruitful outcomes to fulfill our organization's mission, which includes fostering research partnerships, lecture series, and academic activities," he concluded.

PHILJAPKUS mentors—part of the Kuroshio Science Program and alumni of Kochi University—will lead a series of initiatives to advance academic exchange and research opportunities. 

The MOA signing between ParSU and PHILJAPKUS marks a milestone in building global connections and promoting academic excellence at ParSU, highlighting its commitment to providing quality education and promoting sustainable and resilient communities.
