𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐔, 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐉𝐀𝐏𝐊𝐔𝐒 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡

Partido State University (ParSU) hosts the Innovative Research Mentoring Program in partnership with the Philippine-Japan Association for Kuroshio Science Promotion, Inc. (PHILJAPKUS). 

This initiative brings together distinguished experts from government agencies and top universities to guide and mentor the ParSU faculty in advancing innovative research. 

On its first wave from December 10, 2024, to December 12, 2024, it will focus on Concept Note-Making and One-on-One Mentoring Sessions that will be discussed by Dr. Alvin Monotilla from the University of San Carlos and Dr. Emma Ballad from the Department of Agriculture, BFAR Region II respectively. 

Continuing the goal of advancement, the second wave from December 17, 2024 to December 19, 2024 will feature more inspiring mentors, which includes guests from Bicol University, namely Dr. Renan Bobiles and Dr. Katrina Canon, guests from Batangas State University, namely Dr. Jayvee Saco, Dr. Jonel Corral, and Dr. Joshua Vacarizas, Dr. Donna Guarte-Valida from Visayas State University, and Dr. Kristian Aldea from Catanduanes State University. Further, Dr. Gyo Itani of the Kochi University and Dr. Yumi Henmi of the Kyoto University of Japan will join the mentoring program via Zoom. 

This program includes one-on-one consultations tailored to participants’ concept notes or draft proposals, research collaborations, and dynamic mentoring sessions. The event will culminate with a message of commitment from the faculty participants, affirming their dedication to advancing research excellence. 

ParSU remains steadfast in its commitment to building a stronger and more innovative research culture, ensuring quality and excellence along the journey.
