
December 5, 2024 | To establish the general principles of mutual collaboration within the Passage to ASEAN ย (P2A) Research Network, Partido State University (ParSU) signs the Framework of Cooperation (FOC) during the 8th Annual General Assembly Training Workshop in Manila, Philippines.
Under this, both parties will collaborate to identify and pursue areas of mutual research interest, thus opening doors for joint research projects and allowing ParSU faculty and researchers to tap into broader networks and resources within the P2A Research Network to elevate the quality of academic output at ParSU significantly.
More so, institutions agreed to support and encourage joint research projects, faculty and researcher exchange programs, collaborative grant applications, co-organization of conferences and workshops, establishing joint publications, development of joint academic programs, student research internships, collaborative curriculum design, database and resource sharing, and capacity building training for researchers.
With the collective aim of fostering academic excellence, innovation, and knowledge exchange, this partnership will benefit the university's faculty and students and advance higher education and research across the ASEAN region. As ParSU deepens its collaboration within the P2A Research Network, it will continue to build on its mission to provide academic excellence and develop globally competent and innovative graduates.
The MOU signing was attended by University Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Michael A. Clores and Vice President for Research, Extension & Knowledge Management Dr. Raul G. Bradecina.
P2A was founded in 2012 to unite higher education institutions in ASEAN countries to promote cultural appreciation and workforce education amongst its youth.
