Deepening its commitment to community-driven athlete development, Partido State University (ParSU) formalized its partnership with the Local Government of Goa ย through the signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Ceremony held on March 23, 2026 at the ParSU Boardroom.
The collaboration, anchored on the Collaboration for Holistic Advancement and Mentorship of Partido Sports (CHAMPS), supports the implementation of the Goa Athletes Mentorship and Enhancement (GAME) Extension Programโan initiative designed to empower Goaeรฑos beyond sports.
Engr. Marijane Iglesia presented an overview of the GAME Program, emphasizing its focus on mentorship, skill development, and the cultivation of values among community athletes.
Leading the ceremony, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo emphasized that the partnership goes beyond building competitive athletes. It aims to shape well-rounded individuals grounded in discipline, resilience, and well-being. โThe true goal of this program is not limited to competitionโit is inclusion,โ he shared.
Representing the LGU of Goa were Mayor Raquel S. Lim, alongside Genny Canuto of Badminton sa Goa, and Erwin Baldoza of PKL Baztekhan Goa, whose presence underscored the strong partnership built on trust and shared purpose.
The initiative reflects a shared vision between ParSU and the LGU of Goa to create meaningful opportunities for growth, using sports as a platform for holistic development and community empowerment.
Through CHAMPS and GAME, ParSU continues to champion programs that not only develop athletes, but also those empowered, community-driven individuals.
