Partido State University (ParSU) welcomed guests from Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) for a benchlearning session on its Institutional Accreditation (IA) journey on February 19, 2026, at the ParSU Boardroom.
The visit comes on the heels of ParSU's successful attainment of Level III Institutional Accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) on its first attempt last year โ a momentous milestone that highlights the University's established systems, collaborative culture, and sustained commitment to quality assurance.
Building on this achievement, the session provided a comprehensive discussion of ParSU's preparations, strategies, documentation systems, governance mechanisms, and culture-building initiatives that contributed to its Level III IA achievement.ย
In his welcome remarks, Prof. Charlie V. Balagtas, Vice President for Administration and Finance, described ParSU's IA journey as both exciting and challenging, emphasizing that the achievement was made possible through unified effort and institutional discipline.ย Complementing this perspective, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Michael A. Clores highlighted the extensive groundwork and coordinated preparations undertaken by the University, underscoring that IA success is not a one-time accomplishment but a sustained commitment to Quality and continuous improvement.
University officials, IA Area Chairs, and the Quality Assurance Office (QAO) team, led by Director Janeth A. Cledera, hosted the CNSC delegation headed by Mr. Rayniel D. Zabala, CNSC QAO Director. Director Zabala expressed his enthusiasm to learn from ParSU, recognizing the University's progress and best practices as valuable references for CNSC's own IA preparations.
In her closing message, Director Cledera expressed confidence that the objectives of the visit had been successfully achieved and that ParSU had provided a clearer vision for CNSC's IA journey.
