Partido State University (ParSU) capped the year with a Thanksgiving Activity on December 15, 2025, bringing together university administrators, officials, faculty, and staff to celebrate institutional accomplishments and express gratitude for the milestones achieved throughout the year.
The activity opened with a Thanksgiving Mass, which set a reflective and meaningful tone as the ParSU community offered thanks for the collective efforts, guidance, and successes that marked the year.
During the program, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo presented the 2025 report, outlining the University's significant accomplishments, key institutional developments, and strategic directions, which underscored the collective commitment of the ParSU community to academic excellence, public service, and continuous improvement across all campuses.ย
Among the notable highlights cited by Dr. Zarcedo was ParSU's attainment of Level III Accreditation status from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), marking a significant milestone in the University's pursuit of quality assurance and academic standards.
"On September 22-26, ParSU subjected itself to Institutional Accreditation of the AACCUP, and in all areas of accreditation, we showed that our institutional quality is at par with the best in the country. The institutional accreditation was a resounding success, and due to our collective efforts,[ParSU is] now LEVEL III Institutionally accredited," he exclaimed.
College Deans and selected Heads of Offices also presented their respective accomplishments for the year. Their reports highlighted gains in instruction, research, extension, and student services, reflecting the University's unified efforts toward institutional growth.

The program also featured festive Christmas presentations by non-teaching personnel from various University offices, followed by interactive games during the fellowship activity, which strengthened bonds and camaraderie among members of the ParSU community.
Closing the program, Vice President for Administration and Finance Prof. Charlie V. Balagtas reminded the ParSU community that, "Our accomplishments this year are a testament to our unity and shared commitment to excellence tantamount to the goals we aim to achieve in 2026."
The Year-End Thanksgiving Activity served not only as a celebration of the University's achievements but also as a reaffirmation of ParSU's collective resolve to move forward with renewed purpose in the coming year.ย
