The initiation of scientific collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology โ Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (DOST-PNRI), led by Dr. Americus D.C. Perez, marks a significant step toward advancing research and development initiatives between DOST-PNRI and Partido State University.
In a courtesy meeting with the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Knowledge Management (OVPREKM), the exchange of ideas opened promising opportunities for joint research undertakings, particularly in the Partido District, Camarines Sur.ย
The presence of key university officials, such as Dr. Raul G. Bradecina VPREKM, the OIC Director for Research and Development Prof. Patricia M. Candelaria, OIC Dean of the College of Science Dr. Leah Erica B. Ignao, Department Chair of Physical Sciences Mr. Noel Patrick L. Soberano, MSc., and two faculty members of the BS Geology Program, enriched the discussions and underscored the university's commitment to fostering collaborative, interdisciplinary research aligned with national development goals.
This partnership reflects ParSU's commitment to strengthening research collaborations that create meaningful impact in the community and the nation. By working closely with DOST-PNRI, ParSU continues to advance scientific innovation and knowledge creation that address pressing societal challenges, firmly aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 (Quality Education), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reaffirming ParSU's role as a catalyst for inclusive and transformative progress.
