To support its goal of digital transformation, Partido State University, through the Center for Intelligent Systems and Community Innovations (CISCI), in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), conducted orientations on the Digital Government Services on the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) Digital Signature and the eGovPH Platform on August 17, 2026, at the RDE Training Center.
In his message, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo emphasized the need to advance innovation alongside digital security, particularly as emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence create both opportunities and risks.
โAs we introduce new technologies into our processes, we must always remember that innovation and security should move together. Efficiency is valuable, but so are authenticity, accountability, and trust,โ Dr. Zarcedo underscored.
DICT Region V Provincial Officer Dr. Aileen Rillon graced the activity while Engr. Kim Abarientos led the PNPKI orientation, equipping ParSU college deans, division chiefs, directors, unit heads, faculty members, and personnel with essential knowledge on digital certificates, electronic signatures, and secure online transactions. The session strengthened the Universityโs capacity to ensure digital documents are authentic, verifiable, and protected against unauthorized alteration.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ralph Spencer Talagtag led the eGovPH Orientation, introducing the eGovPH Super App and highlighting how digital platforms can make government services more accessible, convenient, and secure.
This collaborative commitment means building a digital culture that strengthens institutional efficiency, safeguards information, promotes accountability, and earns the trust of the community and stakeholders.
Through initiatives like this, the University continues to prepare its people for a more secure, responsive, and future-ready digital environment.
