




Partido State University (ParSU) proudly marks a milestone as the College of Public Safety and Community Health (CPSCH) โ Lagonoy Campus holds its first-ever White Coat and Pinning Ceremony for nine (9) 4th year Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND) students on January 19,2026 at the RDE Training Hall, Goa campus.ย
Guest speaker Mr. Eric M. Arcangel, RND, Nutritionist-Dietitian IV and OIC of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department of Bicol Medical Center, inspired the students with lessons from his years of experience as a clinical dietitian, sharing real-life challenges that will shape their character and competence, helping them develop humility and the ability to work collaboratively with other health professionals. Moreso, he emphasized that the white coat and pin symbolize professionalism and a commitment to ethical practice as they begin their clinical journey.ย
Above all, he highlighted that โbeyond science and routine, the heart of the profession is compassionate, patient-centered careโ, reminding them that they can make a lasting, meaningful difference in peopleโs lives.
This historic ceremony formally ushers BSND students from classroom learning into clinical practice, signaling their readiness to uphold professional standards in nutrition and dietetics. As they don their white coats and receive their pins, ParSU reaffirms its commitment to producing competent, service-oriented professionals dedicated to advancing public health, food security, and nutrition education.ย
