Preparing for the next step in its quality assurance efforts, the Partido State UniversityโCollege of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) โ San Jose Campus joined the AACCUP Institutional Accreditation Orientation and Workshop held on August 10โ11, 2026, at the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST).
The two-day workshop provided the Institutional Accreditation Taskforce with guidance on the requirements and processes for institutional accreditation, including the preparation, organization, presentation, and digitization of accreditation documents.
It also covered the nine key areas of assessment: governance and management, teaching and learning, faculty and staff, research, extension, support to students, library, infrastructure and learning resources, and quality assurance culture.
The learnings from the workshop will help ParSU-CHTM better organize its documents and evidence, assess its existing practices, and identify areas that need further strengthening as it prepares for institutional accreditation.
The participation reflects ParSU's continuing work to ensure that its programs, systems, and services meet quality standards and support the University's commitment to continuous improvement.
