




The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) of Partido State University (ParSU) โ San Jose Campus successfully concluded the two-day Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Evaluation and Validation Visit on August 27โ28, 2025, for its Master of Science in Tourism Management (MSTM) - Academic Track, a key step in securing a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).ย
ParSU takes pride in being the first university in the Bicol Region to offer graduate programs in tourism management, reaffirming its leadership and innovation in hospitality and tourism education.ย
The program evaluators, Prof. Ma. Christina Aquino, Dr. Lilibeth Aragon and Dr. Bernardo Rodolfa Jr., members of the CHED Technical Panel for Tourism and Hospitality Management programs, were accompanied by Engr. Janet N. Naag, MDM, SEPS, Supervising Education Program Specialist of CHEDRO V, and Remedios Talingdan, CHED OPSD Representative.
During the exit conference, the evaluators commended ParSU, highlighting the program's promising direction and key strengths and providing constructive recommendations for improvement and future growth.
The visit underscored ParSU's strong commitment to academic excellence and continuous efforts to align with and exceed national quality standards in hospitality and tourism education.ย
The success of this evaluation reflects the support and guidance of the university officials, the commitment and hard work of the CHTM faculty, staff, graduate program coordinator Dr. Niรฑo Rebuya, and college dean Dr. Jossie Romero, whose collaborative efforts continue to elevate not only the college's reputation but the university as a whole.
