Strengthening its role as a catalyst for professional growth, educational reforms, and national development, the Partido State University College of Education (ParSU-CED) launched the Professional Advancement and Meaningful Approaches to Harnessing Academic Wisdom (PAMAHAW) Teaching Excellence Forum on September 30, 2025, at the CED Review and Training Center.
With the theme โEDCOM 2 Report: Implications and Action Points for Sustained Teaching Excellence,โ the session featured thought-provoking lectures from Mr. Michael P. Vale, CED faculty member and 2016 Licensure Examination for Teachers Top 4; Mr. Marvin O. Gabatin, ParSU CED Associate Dean; and Dr. Darrel M. Ocampo, Dean of the College of Education at the Central Bicol State University of AgricultureโSipocot Campus.
The discussions emphasized the direct implications of the EDCOM 2 report for teacher training, professional growth, and classroom innovation. Speakers underscored how educators must respond with technical proficiency and adaptability, empathy, and visionary thinking that are essential qualities in addressing the rapidly evolving needs of learners in the 21st century, guiding the students and faculty in shaping responsive and transformative teaching practices anchored on national education reforms.
The initiative reinforces the collegeโs role in shaping educators whose practice is rooted in excellence and service, ย echoing the Universityโs commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).ย
