







Partido State University (ParSU) College of Engineering and Computational Sciences held its Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremony on April 27, 2026, with the theme โSealing the Path Forward: Honoring the Journey Toward Sanitary Engineering Excellenceโ, recognizing 21students from the Bachelor of Science in Sanitary Engineering program as they reached a new milestone in their academic journey.
More than a ceremony, it symbolized the studentsโ commitment to the Sanitary Engineering profession while reflecting ParSUโs dedication to advancing science, technology, and innovation. It also marked their readiness to address real-world challenges and embrace their role in safeguarding resilient and sustainable communities.
In his message, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo reminded the students to carry the universityโs core values into their on-the-job training. He emphasized that professional discipline is built through small acts done consistently and responsibly, noting that โevery task, no matter how simple, is an opportunity to learn, grow, and practice excellence.โ
The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of Engr. Rina Mae P. Cariรฑo, a proud ParSU alumna and Health Program Officer II of the Department of Health โ Bicol Center for Health Development, delivered an inspirational address, sharing her personal journey and motivating the students as they prepare to embark on their on-the-job training.
This milestone celebrates not only the studentsโ hard work but also the strong foundation ParSU provides in shaping future engineers- a proud moment as they move one step closer to becoming licensed professionals.
