As part of its 2nd Founding Anniversary celebration, the College of Engineering and Computational Sciences (CEC) of Partido State University (ParSU) organized several activities for students, faculty, and industry partners, underscoring its commitment to excellence, collaboration, and professional readiness.
One of the highlights was the Testimonial Ceremony, recognizing the achievements of the college's newly licensed professionals. Among the honorees were 2 Civil Engineers from the November 2025 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination (CELE) and 12 Sanitary Engineers from the January 2026 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE).
Special recognition was given to Engr. Rhojan F. Sabenorio for ranking 3rd nationwide in the 2026 SELE. With his outstanding performance, Engr. Sabenorio received a PHP 100,000 cash incentive, following the University's updated guidelines for PRC licensure topnotchers. In his message, he encouraged CEC students to "strive for excellence, but do it with the right heart," highlighting that education is a tool to serve the community.
The celebration also featured the First Annual CEC Banquet with Industry Partners, a platform to strengthen collaboration between the academe and the engineering and technology industries. University President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo emphasized that these partnerships allow students to experience real workplace challengesโsuch as deadlines, teamwork, and professional responsibilitiesโwhich are essential for translating academic knowledge into practical competence.
Industry partners recognized for their support included Mitsubishi Motors Pili, Baao Water District, Naga Solid Waste Management Office, Frovan's Engineering Design and Services, AMAN Engineering Enterprises, Peรฑafrancia Service Specialist Inc., CASURECO IV, Elecol Engineering, Aretex Philippines Outsourcing, and Cooperative Development Authority Naga. Other partners, including Jordan's Engineering and Unitech Resources Inc., participated virtually, reflecting the college's expanding network of collaborative stakeholders.
The activities showcase the CEC community's discipline, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. As the celebration continues, the college remains focused on its mission to produce industry-ready professionals poised to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
