








Partido State University (ParSU) College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) held its first-ever Pinning Ceremony titledย โThe Threshold 2026โ for 90 third-year Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BACOMM) students on May 26, 2026 at the CED Review and Training Center.
Guest speaker Ms. Irene Grejalvo-Ruga, Administrative Officer and Anchor at FM Radio CamSur and Bicol Correspondent of PRTV Prime Media and DZMM TeleRadyo, emphasized that the pinning ceremony represents not only achievement but also growth, responsibility, and the beginning of the studentsโ journey into the real world of communication. She emphasized the importance of becoming communicators with integrity who use their influence responsibly, reminding students that โnot everything popular is meaningful.โ
โAs future communication professionals, your role goes beyond delivering information. You have the power to shape opinions, inspire change, and create positive impact through your stories and voices,โ she shared.
Adding inspiration to the event, Alejandro Fred Nonsol, one of the top-performing interns, shared his internship experiences and practical insights on workplace etiquette, professionalism, and adaptability in the communication industry.
This historic ceremony formally ushers BACOMM students from classroom learning into actual practice, signaling their readiness to uphold professional standards in communication. As they receive their pins, ParSU reaffirms its commitment to producing competent, service-oriented professionals dedicated to advancing ethical communication, public engagement, and community development.
Present during the ceremony were CAH officials, faculty members, and proud families, reflecting the strong collective support shaping ParSUโs future communication professionals.
