The two-day Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) evaluation for the application of the government authority to operate the Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) at Partido State University (ParSU) College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) successfully concluded yesterday, October 8, 2025.

Dr. Rachel D. Casimero, CHEDRO V Chief Education Program Specialist, Dr. Karen I. Iniego, Education Supervisor II, and Dr. April Z. Luzon, RQAT member, conducted an onsite evaluation, document validation, review, and ocular inspection. The visit aimed to ensure that the proposed BPA program meets the academic, administrative, and infrastructural standards set by CHED, guaranteeing that it remains relevant and responsive to public sector governance and local development needs.

In his message, ParSU President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL emphasized that the BOR-approved Strategic Plan calls us to sustain student excellence and advance regional development. "In line with this vision, we see the Bachelor of Public Administration program as a training ground for principled and transformative leaders โ€” graduates who are not only competent managers, but also ethical decision-makers, innovative policy shapers, and compassionate public servants," he added.

In response, Dr. Mariel R. Estrella, Dean of the CAH, expressed sincere appreciation for the evaluators' feedback and extended gratitude for the support, hard work, and dedication of all the university officials, Dr. Jennifer C. San Jose, Associate Dean of CAH, and the CAH faculty and non-teaching personnel highlight that this milestone resulted from the collective efforts of the ParSU community and affirmed the university's full commitment to comply with the recommendations and feedback provided by the RQAT, further to enhance the quality and readiness of the BPA program.

This visit reflects ParSU's ongoing commitment to academic excellence and program quality that aligns with national standards and global educational goals, particularly Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education and 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, which promote inclusive, equitable, and effective governance through education.
