Aiming to bridge the gap between research and real-world application, Partido State University (ParSU) Center for Food Safety Research and Extension (CFSRE) partnered with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources โ Special Area for Agricultural Development (BFAR-SAAD) Program for a strategic collaboration meeting on March 18, 2026 at the ParSU Boardroom, ensuring that food safety standards and fishery innovations work hand-in-hand for the benefit of communities.

ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo highlighted that the initiative supports the Universityโs goal of leading in research, extension, and innovation that directly responds to community needs. Through CFSRE, the University continues to advance food safety standards, contamination monitoring, and disease surveillance. He concludes, โThrough partnerships like this, we ensure that these efforts are amplified, reaching the sectors that need them most.โ
