ParSU and Two Secondary Schools in Partido District Ink MOA on Academic Partnership

The Partido State University (PARSU) through Dr. Raul G. Bradecina, SUC President III and two secondary schools in Partido District through their respective principals have signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on academic partnerships. The partnerships will cover the provision of trainings on the preparation and implementation of research and extension programs and the enhancement of instructional modules related to agriculture, the collaboration projects on vegetables and rabbit production and the assistance to school in a garden and its water supply irrigation systems.

The secondary schools involved in the MOA signing were Nato National High School (NNHS) represented by Ms. Felomina C. Vergara and Partido Agro-Industrial National High School (PAINHS) represented by. Dr. Robert S. Ablao. The MOA signing was held on November 3, 2022 for NNHS in Nato, Sagňay, Camarines Sur and on November 4, 2022 for PAINHS in Mabalodbalod, Tigaon, Camarines Sur. The MOAs were also signed by Engr. Joel P. Sadol, Mr. Lydio P. Sadol, Jr. and Mr. Edgar E. Bantog as witnesses for being the Campus Dean of PARSU Salogon Campus, the Faculty President of NNHS and the TVL Coordinator of PAINHS, respectively. The ceremonial signings of MOAs were participated by VPREKM Patricia M. Candelaria, Research Director Luisa M. Lanciso, Extension Director Rosemarie A. Tabardillo of PARSU and selected faculty of NNHS and PAINHS. This activity was an initiative of PARSU Salogon Campus and the two secondary schools mentioned.

Before the MOA signing, there was short talk between the parties and Dr. Bradecina of PARSU had stressed out that the sustainability of program partnerships should be the responsibilities of all parties concerned. He visions out that the partnership should transform the secondary schools into agri-edu-tourism sites in Partido District. The schools should be the venue for producing crops and animals that are grown and raised through recent and smart agricultural technologies, for educating students about agricultural related subjects for future food sustainability, for marketing of processed agricultural produces and for attracting tourists who are fun of agriculture. This vision of the PARSU President was applauded by all of the participants in the MOA signing and it is the hope of everybody to be realized soon. -JPSadol
