Partido State University’s College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems Caramoan Campus proudly hosted “Kurumustahan: Strengthening the ParSU–UCLA–KU Nexus,” yesterday, July 24,2025, a significant milestone in the university’s international collaboration efforts.

The activity was initiated by the Office of the President and Office of International Affairs bringing together the two big international networks of ParSU to find common interests for collaboration and strengthened partnership.

The simple activity was also a way of showing appreciation to the efforts made by Dr. Stephen B. Acabado (Professor of Anthropology and Director of University of California, Los Angeles’s Southeast Asian Studies Center), Dr. Rafe Brown (Fulbright Visiting Professor at ParSU and Curator in Charge of Herpetology at Kansas University’s Biodiversity Institute) and their respective research team while engaging ParSU's students, faculty and staff in their significant works.

Building upon previous joint efforts, this event reinforces ParSU’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, expanding global partnerships, and cultivating resilient, community centered scholarship
