In partnership with the University Health Services Office, Partido State University's College of Public Safety and Community successfully conducted the HIV/AIDS Health Education Campaign: Enhancing Awareness and Prevention Through Health Literacy on August 20, 2025, at the ParSU Gymnasium.
Bringing together students from various colleges across the university, the activity deepen their understanding of HIV and AIDS, with a strong focus on prevention, early detection, and reducing stigma associated with the condition.
Distinguished guest speakers Ms. Georgina M. Janowski of Charitemidezine University, Mr. Richard Hayag, President of Gentlemen Bicol, and Dr. Jose Seth B. Cledera, Jr., ParSU Medical Officer enriched the campaign with their insights and advocacy.ย
Through this, students were equipped with science-based information and empowered with strategies to protect their health and advocate for others. The campaign open dialogues to promote a stigma-free and inclusive campus environment.
This initiative underscores ParSU's commitment to promoting the overall well-being of its academic community. By strengthening health literacy and public awareness, the university reaffirms its role in advancing inclusive, proactive public health advocacy within and beyond the university.ย
