




Partido State Universityโs College of Education (CED) formally marked a defining milestone for 190 pre-service teachers through its Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony on January 15, 2026, a solemn rite that signifies their readiness to advance to the teaching internship and embrace the responsibilities of the profession.
Guest speaker Ms. Missy P. Seldis, a BSED Science alumna, cum laude graduate, and former student leader, currently serving as a Special Science Teacher I at San Jose National High School, San Jose District, delivered an inspiring message highlighting the transformative power of education and the enduring influence of teachers in nation-building. โYou are here because we believe in your potentialโthe children need you, the country needs you,โ she shared. She urged the pre-service teachers to approach their field experience with humility, dedication, and compassion, emphasizing that teachingโwhether in service or in preparationโis both a privilege and a responsibility.
