The College of Science of Partido State University is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge, research, and innovation in the natural sciences. It offers two undergraduate programs, the Bachelor of Science in Biology and the Bachelor of Science in Geology, which provide students with a strong foundation in scientific principles, fieldwork, and research methodologies. Guided by a commitment to academic excellence and sustainable development, the College prepares graduates to become competent scientists and professionals capable of addressing pressing environmental, biological, and geological challenges at local, national, and global levels.

Program Offerings
Bachelor of Science in Biology (BSBio)
The Bachelor of Science in Biology program was established in 2002 pursuant to Board Resolution No. 7, Series of 2001, and is currently Level III Re-Accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
The program provides a strong foundation in the concepts, principles, and theories of the biological, natural, and physical sciences. It aims to:
- Develop studentsโ competencies in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and research.
- Equip students with skills in the efficient processing, analysis, and communication of scientific information.
- Prepare graduates for diverse career paths in education, research, industry, environmental management, and health sciences, as well as for advanced studies in the life sciences.
Bachelor of Science in Biology major in Biotechnology
The Bachelor of Science in Biology, specializing in Biotechnology, aims to cultivate among students a comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts, principles, and theories in biology, particularly emphasizing applications in biotechnology. This program seeks to equip students with the necessary skill and knowledge to engage in research endeavors within the biotechnological field, emphasizing the integration of biological, natural, and physical sciences.
Bachelor of Science in Geology (BSGeo)
The Bachelor of Science in Geology program was established in 2007 pursuant to Board Resolution No. 8, Series of 2007.
The program provides a strong foundation in the concepts, principles, and theories of the Earth sciences, integrating knowledge from the natural and physical sciences. It aims to:
Develop studentsโ competencies in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, fieldwork, and research in geology.
Equip students with skills in geological mapping, sampling, laboratory analysis, data interpretation, and effective communication of scientific information.
Prepare graduates for diverse career paths in geoscience-related fields such as mining, petroleum, geohazard and disaster risk assessment, groundwater and environmental studies, engineering geology, academe, and research, as well as for advanced studies in the geosciences.
