Part of the celebration of the University’s 22nd Charter Anniversary was the Stakeholder's Agro Industrial Overview and Demonstration (SAOD) on March 2, 2023 at the ground floor of the new Research and Extension Building. This activity highlighted technologies generated by the faculty-researchers for the past years. The technologies exhibited and demonstrated are food or non-food products with patents, or are utility models and industrial designs and are registered and with IPO application.

Now on the 2nd year of SAOD, entrepreneurs, faculty, and students showed the same interest on the matured technologies. Among the technologies exhibited were the Fish Vendor Cooler and Molding Machine for Coco Leaf (Ibos) Suman Wrapper both by Mr. Jose Fernandez, et al., Butter Cookie Enriched with native Pili (Bicol) and Sili Labuyo by Dr. Melicia Mila Amador, Tilanggit by Maria France de Vergara, Dye Synthesized Solar Cell using Pili Dye and Activated Carbon as Sensitizer and Counter Electrode by Mr. Kier Gasga, Sweet Pickled Green Papaya by Dr. Arnel Millesca, Abalone Shell by-products like Christmas Decoration, Candle Holder, and Lamp Shade by Dir. Rosemarie Tabardillo, and Front Drive Power Train and Suspension Mechanism for Three-wheeled Electric Vehicle by Michael C. Barbecho, et al.

The President graced the occasion by cutting the ribbon during the opening. He was assisted by VPAA Erlinda M. Basilla and VPREKM Patricia M. Candelaria. The Deans of the Colleges and Campuses were likewise supportive of this Research, Extension, and Knowledge Management highlight.
