
Our Programs
Sustainable Anti– Poverty Program for the Marginalized Sector of Camarines Sur under ACCELERATED AND SUSTAINABLE ANTI–POVERTY PROGRAM (ASAPP) is a collaborative effort of SUCs in the province of Camarines Sur (PSU, BISCAST, CSPC,CBSUA) to reduce poverty incidence in the target communities specifically to create sustainable employment opportunities among farming and fisher folks in Camarines Sur. The 2- day Signing of Memorandum of Agreement was conducted last June 8- 9, 2015 in the priority municipalities of the said program namely: Presentacion, Pasacao, Balatan and Buhi respectively.
The 1st day of MOA Signing was done at Presentacion, Camarines Sur at 9:30 in the morning attended by the representatives from different States, Universities and Colleges of Camarines Sur and officials of the Local Government Unit of Presentacion headed by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jimmy V. Deleña. In the afternoon, another MOA Signing was conducted at Pasacao, Camarines Sur in the presence of LGU officials headed by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Niño a. Tayco.
The 2nd day of MOA Signing was held at Municipal Hall of Balatan and Buhi, Camarines Sur respectively. It was attended by the CSPC officials headed by their President, Dr. Dulce Atian, CBSUA President, Dr. Georgina Bordado and other officials from PSU represented by the Extension Director, Mrs. Rosemarie Tabardillo and BISCAST Extension Director, Dr. Margie Nolasco. Project Leaders and Support Staff of ASAPP in different LGUs were also present during the Signing of Memorandum of Agreement.\
Each of the Municipal Mayors pledged their commitment and accepted the partnership to work together as one to facilitate the target beneficiaries and lessen poverty of their constituents.
Dr. Colorado and Dr. Manny Mendoza from CHED ROV also stated and emphasized the purpose and the expected deliverables of the program throughout the conduct of several skills trainings in every municipality. Additionally, the ASAPP serves as “a.s.a.p.” implementation which calls for an immediate response to the needs of the target communities.
