In response of the university to commit and offer wide variety of extension programs and services, signing of Memorandum of Understanding was conducted between Department of Social Welfare and Development FieId Office V represented by Dir. ARNEL B. GARCIA and Partido State University represented by DR. NITA V. MORALLO last June 4, 2015 at PSU Board Room.

The extension project specifies the qualifications of the skills competency trainings under the Training project for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Beneficiaries.

Ms. Rina Apuyan, 4Ps Provincial Link, Ms. Yolanda C. Gonzales, SLP Provincial Coordinator, Mr. Earl Maximilian Cecilio, External Relation Oficer, Ms. Marvie Pedro, Regional Program Coordinator for Administration, 4Ps, Mr. Neil Benoyo, Project Development Officer II in Goa, Ms. Rosemarie Brazil, Area Coordinator KALAHI CIDSS- NCDDP, municipal links and members of the Area Coordinating Team were present to witness and extend their support in the said MOU signing.

University officials  Vice President for Research, Extension and External Affairs, Dr. Raul G. Bradecina, Extension Director, Mrs. Rosemarie A. Tabardillo, Campus and College Deans and Extension Coordinators also attended to be acquainted with the programs offered by the DSWD and the responsibilities, terms and conditions stated in the MOU.

Dir. Arnel B. Garcia and Dr. Nita V. Morallo have navigated their promises through a collaboration, teamwork, partnership and passion of these extension programs to build a better community particularly to the target beneficiaries.

The University already received an initial budget for three projects (Skills trainings on Organic Farming, Sewing cum Dressmaking and Tailoring, and Organic Livestock and Poultry) worth of Php 5, 425,932.00.
