



To promote cultural sustainability and support community-based creative industries, Partido State University (ParSU), through the Museo de Isarog, in partnership with the National Museum of the Philippines โ Bicol and ParSU Remontados Student Organization, successfully conducted the ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ ๐: ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ on October 27, 2025, at the ParSU Museo de Isarog.ย
Bringing together faculty, students, and culture advocates, the workshop became a living classroom for rediscovering traditional crafts embodying local communities' creativity and resilience. Guests from the Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority, PhilCeramics, and Alemania Weavers shared their knowledge and techniques in sustaining these age-old crafts amid modern challenges.



Participants also engaged in hands-on activities such as pottery making and processing abaca for weaving, gaining firsthand appreciation of local heritage skills.ย
Through this initiative, ParSU promotes learning, sustainable livelihoods, and cultural preservationโadvancing SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).ย
